Christmas overdose

I'm glad the Christmas day starts to be over now. I enjoyed all of it, but it's nice to be back home too after all the hassle. Takes a moment of silence to recover from it all.

Unfortunately, there is still plenty of chocolate to destroy before we can call the Christmas over. For some reason, there is always too much of that stuff. The good thing not being at home is, that most of the other stuff can be left behind and you don't have to eat all that Christmas food for the following week.

Final days of the year are at hand. And it's time to settle in and start planning what's coming up next year. Eat the last unhealthy meals and all the good stuff before starting a more strict diet. Take it easy for a couple of days before starting to work out rigourously and must recover from the year to be ready for the next one.

And the best of all: it's less than half a year until midsummer. It doesn't feel that distant anymore. Half a year just passes by without noticing. And then, we turn once again towards the next Christmas. It will be here before we even notice.
