The first week

A week into this year and so far it looks like a great year coming. The start wasn't the best, but I'll just start counting from the second day. Quite a lot has already happened in such a short period of time. I have got a lot done and I have plenty of plans for more.

I didn't take any absolute measures for this year. No eating healthy every day, or not drinking for the whole January as many (try to) do. Not even exercising every day. Just simply trying to do a bit more every day. And when the rut comes, let it. Rest for a day or two and get back. As long as I don't stay there. I can go down and start again at the bottom. One day at the time, each day being a little bit better.

I know the upper limit will also come at some days. I'm a bit more worried about those than the low ones. What could I do then? Of course, usually there is something to improve after all. But if I can keep a formidable streak of improving every day it ill become increasingly difficult quite fast. And I'm sure even staying there would be quite straining for any longer period of time. It could even burn me out. I just need to make sure I remember to take those days off every now and then.
