Peaceful revolution

If what happened two days ago in the US would have happened earlier, at any point in the last four years by the other side, world wouldn't have batted an eye. It would have been seen as an justified act against oppression. But that's not what civilized people do. Instead the people of America stood up and cast their votes.

It's a beginning. It's sad that once a great nation needed such a hard wake-up call to realize what kind of shitfuckery there was going on. Now might be a moment to celebrate, but not forget. So far everything has gone like a script, history repeating itself. The true test will still be ahead. The fate of the future of the US will decided four years from now. The people in the States are already divided, they don't need an actual wall for that (and I'm not talking about the one for the Mexican border).

Thinks will get better, but first they'll get worse. It's just a matter of making that bad period as short as possible.
