Maximum capitalism

In the age of the streaming media I really want to support all these streaming service providers. Unfortunately they are making it really hard.

First of all there are way too many of them. Sure competition is good, but having to subscribe in half a dozen services is just too much. All those subscriptions wouldn't even give you all the content. Some content is still out of your reach if you happen to live in the wrong region.

Some services even dare to play ads along their paid content. Like it wouldn't be enough to capitalize my viewing habits to make some target group profiles to be able to sell me more! I should at least get some of that profit in the form of reduced price. But no, this service is actually one of the most expensive ones.

Maybe the worst offender is Disney. While they have hoarded a massive amount of popular franchise like Star Wars and Marvel to make sure every nerd on the planet is bound to subscribe they still dare to charge over 20 euros for premier movies (requires ongoing Disney+ subscription). For that price you can already go and see it in a theater (when they will be open once again).
