Last night we went to see the latest Marvel movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The movie itself didn't offer any surprises. I didn't know much about this latest addition to the MCU but I expected the stable quality of the Marvel films we have used of getting lately. I wasn't disappointed about that. The movie was exactly as good as I expected it to be, and nothing more.
But as the one movie I have been waiting for for so long is soon to hit the theaters I was hoping to see the trailer for it on the big screen as well. The Dune is made for the big screen and I would really have wanted to see a glimpse of that already after all this waiting. On the other hand, I just recently found out it will be out already on two weeks! For some reason I was expecting it to come out in October.
Another slight disappointment was the Marvel signature post credit scene(s). As we are entering the fourth phase of the MCU there is a new big bad nemesis lurking behind the scenes. Ot would have been nice to see a quick appearance of Kang on the big screen as well.
