For as long as my beard has grown I have kept a tidy goatee and occasionally tried some small alterations to it. But I've never grown a full beard. With my beard growth I have had to shave daily to keep my fave somewhat tidy and at times it has felt like a lot of work.
During the COVID times, when I haven't had to be on public so much. Even when I have had to the mask is always been there to cover the face, so I haven't been shaving that often. I have taken this chance to let it grow a bit more. Getting used to it and also practicing taking care of it has been interesting journey.
Even if I don't have to shave daily it's not without it's effort. Unless I want to look like Robin Williams in Jumanji shouting"what year it is?" I need to occasionally trim and groom my beard.
Today I'm taking the next step in my journey as I booked an appointment with a real barber. There was a black friday offer on a barber shop next to our office with a free first visit. Looking forward what they will do with my beard and also learn some tips on how to better take care of it.
