Scraping and moulding

Our renovation project is progressing again. Went to pick up the missing pieces from the hardware store yesterday along with some more potent wallpaper remover and spend the day finishing one room and preparing the kitchen for the installation.

The finished room was only the second fully finished one so there are still two to go (three of you count the master bedroom, but that we need to leave for later time). The living room is only missing decor panels on one floor (and the lighting) and there is also another wall to be painted on the hallway once part of it has been teared down.

The most of today I spent ripping of the wallpaper from the kitchen wall. It had the problematic fiberglass wallpaper they so loved back in the nineties. The fiberglass part was relatively easy to tear down, but the combination of glue and the paper behind the surface was a tough nut. I already tried scraping it off after dampening it with water, but it would have taken a lot of time and effort. Hence the remover (and purpose made scraper) I purchased yesterday. Even with those the task wasn't too easy, but at least it was doable in sensible time.
