There has been a new trailer of the Rings of Power released during the San Diego comic con along with more info about the upcoming series straight from the creators. Everything seems better and better the closer to the premiere we get. I just hope they haven't been promising us too much and set up a huge disappointment.
One of the thing I've never really thought is the fact that indeed, the second age of Middle Earth was the golden age. The war that ended ot was devastating and the victory might not have been considered that much of a victory. The results were more apocalyptic. By the time of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings the world had been recovering from those event for over three millennia! ... and it still wasn't up to it's old days of glory.
