After finally managing ro catch up with all the messages I hd received during my vacation the next task seems to be logging back to all the various systems and services. There are surprisingly many places you need to be logged in on a daily basis.
Of course this logging back in happens constantly throughout the year, not just after the vacation. But the fact that I don't need all the services every day causes the sessions to live and die on different intervals. To add to that, there is also different periods the sessions are valid. So normally I would only need to login to some of the systems I use per day, not all of them at once.
I remember the time when I wasn't yet using a password manager. Coming back to vacation was always the exciting time: will I still remember all the passwords. And back then there were way less places I had to login. Today, I just couldn't live without the password manager anymore.
