Off the rhythm

My daily rhythm has been slipping earlier and earlier for the past few weeks. I find myself getting tired earlier and then wake up earlier. Today I woke up already at 4:30 am. Even though I'm a morning person that's a bit early even for me.

Maybe it's because I haven't got much anything to schedule my days around when I need to wake up or go to bed. I have managed with my internal clock and go to sleep when I feel tired and wake up when I wake up naturally. Maybe my circadian rhythm is just a bit shorter than 24 hours so it keeps moving my sleeping rhythm earlier every day.

It could also be that I'm just not adjusted yet to the winter time. Moving clocks one hour back could also have that effect. My body keeps thinking why am I still asleep at that time!

I'm not sure this has happened before, in past years around this time after moving the clocks. I don't remember noticing it, but I might well have forgotten it too. But I'd assume if I have noticed it before I most likely would have also written about it. Maybe I should check my post from previous years around this time to find out.
