Even though it could be possible I don't really let my new little helper to roam freely around the apartment. Sure I could make it follow whatever rules I would come up, but still I don't like that level of automation. Sometimes I even think I shouldn't let it pick the order of rooms it goes through.
It's a two fold thing. First, I just don't like the idea any technological thing would do things I'm not aware of or in control around me. My whole home automation system is built on two principles: privacy and simple logic. It just works much better that way.
The second thing is that I don't think it's advanced enough to get around the house on it's own yet. Even if it is one of the most advanced models available in the market it still struggles with random things and needs some help every now and then. So I like yo keep an eye after it whenever it's in action.
