One of the challenges making new music has turned into coming up with the lyrics. The music part with the generative tools available today is so easy. Sure it's alao possible to just generate the lyrics as well, but I find those not so great. It's still great help in refining the lyrics I write myself, but giving the whole task to an A.I. doesn't produce satisfying results.
Luckily there is a lot of great "lyrics" just awaiting to be sang: poems. There are many great poets that have produced beautiful combinations of words. Many which are already in public domain so there wouldn't be any issues with the copyright either.
In addition to having a lot of material to work with it's also nice being able to listen my favourite poems. I've never found it too convenient to just read them.
