Reckless writing

I could describe my daily writing as reckless. A few days every now and then I do have a plan on what to write. A plan that is a bit further thought than just an idea of a topic. Most often I just pick something that comes into my mind and charge ahead.

Those texts aren't probably the most structured ones. I might even get lost somewhere along the way and in the end, I might be writing about something completely different.

I know I couldn't do this every day if it would take me a lot more time. Or it would mean I would need to sacrifice doing something else to free up that time. So for now, that's what I'm going to do until some unforeseeable future.

Another issue with just charging into a topic is that sometimes it doesn't carry me all the way to the end. I need to stop for a moment, gather some speed for the final dash to the finish line.

But in the end, I think this is a great skill. Whatever I need to write I can first just charge in and let my thoughts flow free. Then, if the text is important I can start reviewing it. Writing it again completely if needed. The most important thing is that I already have something to work on. It's a lot easier to edit and improve something than just trying to fill blank pages.
