Carried away

I think I have pretty good disciple keeping myself focused. At least once I get started. It's easy to keep doing whatever once I have started it. But the problem lies in the "getting started" - part. Especially when I'm already doing something else.

I know I should start doing something else. But if the previous task is unfinished its hard to give up on that one before finishing it. Even if the previous task isn't that important. I know if I leave it unfinished it will bother me and I can't focus on the next one either until its done.

Like now, I feel a bit lost as I'm writing this. I already started late because I was doing something else. At some point, I noticed I should be writing instead of doing that and switched over. But the previous task is still bothering me and instead of focusing on writing I'm just trying to get it done as fast as possible to get back to it.

So this is probably not a very good post. Just a rambling of what's going on in my head to get it done. Now, i. Switching back to that annoying little task to get it done before I have to start working. Don't want it to disrupt me from doing my work as well.
