Bad mornings

I kinda wanted to rant how this was the worst morning ever. Sure I didn't sleep that well and there were some trains cancelled and the one that finally arrived was packed full, and late.

But it is mostly past now. I don't have to let it ruin the rest of the day. I just need to do a bit of rescheduling to deal with the meetings I were supposed to be in the morning.

Of course, the mishaps could go on and this could really be a bad day. But so what? I just need to get through it and tomorrow will be a new day. And how probable it would be to everything go wrong for a whole day? Sure there will be some good things during the day as well. I just need to pay attention and notice those positive things.

It's so easy to get caught with the negative that you might miss all the good things going on. It's easy to let even one bad thing to define the whole day whereas it requires multiple good ones to feel the opposite. And how many good ones do you need to counter just one bad one?

And even if nothing remarkably good happens, if everything is just average is that still a bad day if there is that one bad thing. Just forget it and move on with your day.
