Finally, the vacation is over and I can get back to work. No, seriously. I do enjoy vacations and time off, but I enjoy my work as well. I might be repeating myself here, but I'm really lucky to have such an amazing workplace.
I didn't get much of anything done during the vacation anyway. Mostly due being sick almost the entire time. But at least I have now rested well instead of spending all my energy on other things. Keeping up the work life balance out of vacations leaves me enough time to do those things later. And I didn't have anything important that would have needed to be done anyway.
As usually, returning to work after being away for a while there were a lot of things waiting for me. It's nice to feel needed, but on the other hand I still have a lot to do on my quest to make myself redundant. Again. I've done that before and I'm sure I can do it before. Then I can move forward toward new challenges.
For the start of this year there definitely will be enough challenges already. New customers and projects starting right away. But that doesn't mean there is no need for further sales efforts.
