I was dedicated to work on this site during my vacation to get some new features out before the new year. It would have been a perfect time to do a public launch too as I'm sure many promises were made on the new years eve.
But life happens and I didn't have as much time or the energy to push myself forward enough to reach that point. I didn't however completely slack off my whole vacation. I did work on the site and did get some nice progress done as well. Notifications, public pages and tags are probably the biggest additions along with a bunch of smaller tweaks again here and there.
As with the previous release there are many interconnected features in this batch as well. I would still like to make smaller releases more often, but it wouldn't be wise to release some half finished features at this point. Can't forget the proper and thorough testing either.
Still, even finishing what I'm currently working it wouldn't be all I was planning even with those features. But I believe they are complete enough so the remaining things can wait for another release. Or maybe I can start rolling them out more frequently after this one.
If nothing major comes up the next release should be out by the end of the week.
