Finally something to watch

In the world where this is almost unlimited amount of entertainment available it's amazing to find yourself in a situation where you habe nothing to watch. But that's where I have been for a while again.

Sure, if I'd really wanted, i would have found something to watch. I don't mind this "problem" that much. The issue has mostly realized in those moments we enjoy spending together with my wife or children watching some shows together. I don't even really care what we watch, it's the together part I'm after. Of course it's always nice to have something actually interesting to watch. Another challenge to find something that interests everybody. Luckily we have some overlapping tastes so there is usually something to look forward.

It's usually the new shows (or new seasons of the shows we have been watching previously) we start watching. The old, proven shows are easy. It's just a matter of waiting for the next season. The new ones are always a gamble. What if it isn't good after all. You can't just watch one episode. It might get better after a few more episodes. Then you are already invested, feels like you wasted time if you don't finish it. So there is always the risk. It's even worse for those older series where there is already numerous seasons available. To start watching them is a commitment. You just have to finish the whole series.

So, after a moment of nothing to watch (or not enough time to complete some new random show while waiting) there is again something to watch: Loki just started today on Disney+, Netflix has an Icelandic series called Katla starting in few days and Lupin is also getting a new season there soon.
