While it has been mostly impossible to have live meetings during the pandemic the amount of meetings have just gone up. Even though we had quite a bit of experience in remote meetings already prior to the COVID it was still a bit awkward from time to time in the beginning.
Over the past year and a half it has become quite natural already. There has been some new meeting conventions evolved out of necessity and other good practises have been also encouraged to make the meetings as comfortable for everyone as possible.
We've actually gotten to a point where it feels better to have the meeting remotely. At least as long as the live meetings are held wearing a mask. That feels more weird now as you can't see the facial expressions of others for example. At least in a video call you have those. There is also the comfort of being in your own space.
