This year, the 2021 has only a few hours left. It was the second year of COVID lockdowns and living in this new world order. Because of that it would first appear not much happened during the year as there were not much opportunities to travel or go to any events.
Looking back, I think this was quite a remarkable year for our family. Maybe one of the biggest year of chance for a while. First, our son joined the army to get his mandatory military service done. Our youngest kid found their calling and got into a new school, moving on their own during the process. Wife changed jobs and I got my big promotion. And then we bought a new home.
That's quite a lot of change for a single year. Hopefully next year wouldn't bring as many big changes to our life. But let's hope we finally get over this pandemic and can return to more normal life without such limitations.
