I had to celebrate a bit today when I was continuing inventorying my LEGO sets. After building most of my big sets I moved to smaller ones and went through half a dozen sets today. Every one if them was missing pieces, not many but still... Until I got to the last set for the day.
Black Monarchs Ghost, a set of only 36 pieces, some of them not so common, had managed to survive all these years with all the pieces still present. There were only two pieces that had taken a bit of damage and the minifigs chest piece was a bit faded. I'll probably going to replace those at some point, but for now I take this small victory.
There are still a few sets left to go through from my castle collection. After that I'm going to move to Pirates and after that Space. I think I'm going to ignore the rest of the themes as they aren't that interesting for me. Only reason to inventory those too would be to start selling those to be able to replace them with the missing sets from my chocen collectible sets. There are still plenty of sets in the category "back as a kid I wanted to have those".
