No breaks

Having slower time at work is nice, but daya without schedules have their own problems. On my normal days all the meetings give a nice structure for the day. They don't last too long and there is (almost) always at least a small break in between them.

When I don't have any meetings I just keep working. There are no natural breaks so it's harder to remember to take one. Either I keep working on one thing in the flow or keep jumping from task to the next one straight away.

Another problem with this slower time is that there isn't really anything meaningful to do. I grossly overestimated how much I had backlog for this occasion. There are also things I actually couldn't progress that much alone.

Trying to find something to do instead of day flowing naturally from task to task or meeting to meeting makes them feel much longer. Even though I haven't been busy I'm more than ready for my vacation after tomorrow. Just one more long and boring day to go.
