Best kind of support

A boss can tell you what to do, leader will do it for you if needed. There are some though, uncomfortable tasks you might need to do from time to time. Thinks that need to be taken care of even if nobody wants to do them.

I'm still a junior in management level. There are many things that I have only had to do in recent years in my current position. Responsibilities that I didn't have to worry about in a my of my previous positions. Some of those responsibilities can be quite rough, especially when things go badly. In the past the things have been smaller, but there have been similar situations where I don't feel comfortable facing the situation.

Luckily I have had great leaders to back me up on those situations. The small thing that has had a big impact is that they have never told me to just "deal with it", but instead offered their help and ultimately take care of the situation themselves if needed.

Knowing that I don't have to do it if I feel the task too overwhelming has helped me to actually deal with every such situation I have faced so far and never have my superior had to do it for me.
