Sealing the deal

I went to see another Ioniq 6 today from another dealer. I have been discussing about this car and the deal for a while already over the emails with the dealer, but wanted to see the car in person before making the deal as it was from the beginning a better deal even though the cars are almost identical.

It was food that I went. In addition to getting a bit more hands on experience with the car on a test drive I was also able to inspect the car. Good so as there were a few small things I noticed. First of the odometer showed a bit more mileage than what was advertised on the website. Pointing this out earned us a free first maintenance.

The biggest issue was a moderate crack on the windscreen. Once again the dealer promised to fix it. After inspection it was deemed that the whole windscreen need to be replaced. With no additional cost for us. Even though the car is relatively new, been only on display and available for test drive it's important to check these things.

This dealer was also much more knowledgeable about the car. I learned a few new things about it even though I have already been doing quite a bit of study about the model.

Now there are only a few long days to actually get the car. I could have gotten it eight away, but they still need to remove the advertising tapes from the sides of the car and clean it up. I also didn't have the other set of tires with me so it would have required another trip to the dealership to take care of those things.
