I hate reflective screens! For my laptop and external screens I always opt for matte screens. Unfortunately there is no phone maker that provides that option for any of their phones. To solve this issue I have been using matte screen protectors to get rid of that annoying glare.
My trusty OnePlus is already over 4 years old. It still performs well, receives security updates and the battery lasts easily for a full day under normal usage. It's also in really good condition so there is no need for me to replace it. Except maybe now. Even though it still holds for all those other qualities it seems the accessories for it are becoming harder to find.
I tried to find a matte screen protector for it, but it seems there is none available anymore, not even clear ones. I could have gotten a sheet of matte film to cut in shape, but with the phones curved screen I assume it would be a bit challenging to get the cut perfect.
In the end I had to go with a liquid coating. I tried to find one that would give a matte finish but apparently there is no such product available either. So now I have to stare at my own reflection every time I look at my phone.
