Some nights ago I experienced a really weird dream. Or actually the dream itself wasn't that weird, it's just how it was structured that left me baffled at the middle of the night when I woke up from it.
In the dream I was telling a story of my experiences on a polar expedition I had participated a few years back. It was obvious to me this was a dream, the telling part at least. But after we left our friends house where I was telling that story I was a bit confused and had to ask my wife some details of that trip of mine, like when was it exactly and gow did I end up there. She had valid answers so I was fine... until I woke up.
All this obvious dreams had me somehow confused of the story itself I was telling in the dream. Was that real? How could I have forgotten something like that happening in my life. For a moment after waking up I thought I had forgotten that and had just been reminded of it in a dream.
Of course I never went to that expedition. That too was something my mind made up to deepen the dream, an inception. I almost fooled myself.
