A cup of coffee

When I first got into pour over coffee it was delicate work to prepare the coffee. It involves multiple steps and precision measurements to get that "perfect" cup of coffee. In addition of getting a nice cup of coffee it was a kind of experience, a form of meditation even.

Since then I have learned to make that cup without paying too much attention to precise measures. There isn't really that much difference using a few grams less or more grounds, or few degrees deviation in water temperature. Even the pouring style doesn't really affect the taste that much.

Sure I might have come more experienced and can do all those "precision" estimates at eyesight. Or my taste just isn't that delicate to tell the difference. But at least making that cup in the morning is more effortless now.

But I kinda miss that meditation part...
