The weekend is almost over. The game is behind. And I have to admit I was right. About everything I wrote yesterday. But if like to focus on the experience itself. It was great, and I enjoyed it a lot.
I wasn't expecting that. I wasn't looking forward to getting into this game. It was just a game. One of the few we have been able to attend together with my daughter. That alone made it a good game. And that was all I expected from it.
I was quite certain it wouldn't be a bad game either. Knowing the organizers I was sure the game would technically be good no matter what. I didn't even doubt the writing. It's just i felt its not exactly for me.
Despite a all this I have to tell you I greatly enjoyed the game. The atmosphere was great and things flowed smoothly. Definitely one of the top game experiences I've ever had.
But this is quite common if i start to look at those best experiences. Most of them have been unexpected. They have caught me by surprise.
Maybe it's just the expectations. A good game that I have really been looking forward can only deliver what I was looking for. But the game I don't care that much about can greatly exceed my expectations.
