First one down

The first run of our game was finished today. After all this time it was great to finally hear our first players experience. And they sure weren't disappointed. 

It took a lot of effort to get this far. But even after just one run I feel like it was enough reward already. Sure, the job is still hot done. Two more runs are awaiting. But after such a success on the first run in really looking forward to the next ones.

Technically it all went pretty well too. There were only a few minor glitches which luckily mostly didn't show to the players. We also found a few things to fix or adjust for the next game. And that's why it's so great to have more than one run: we can make adjustments between the runs and make the experience even better for the following runs.

Of course everything going so smoothly on this run might give us a false feeling of comfort and make us do some sloppy mistakes on the next ones. We just need to make sure it won't happen. And besides, we wrote some quite detailed instruction during this run, so next time its easier to delegate a lot of the manual tasks to almost anybody.
