Whenever I don't have anything to write about I still have to write something. In so many occasions in the past I have just written about that: not having anything to write about. Way too many times.
But there is better alternative for those times. Recently, I have just picked up some random trivia, s piece of knowledge I have in my head, and written about it. Sometimes expanding my knowledge about the thing at the same time reading more about the topic. Or just doing fact checks to make sure I write them right.
It's not necessarily that creative, or even original, but it gets the job done. Sure, there is always that personal touch on the topic. My way of telling about the thing.
It also offers me a reason to study the fact a bit more. There are so many things I want to know more about, but just randomly reading about them is a waste of time. When writing those facts down, it also makes them easier to remember. So even if they might be useless pieces of information, whenever the topic comes up I can remember more about it. Sometimes I can also pick up completely nee things for a chance.
