Last moment

Well, this hasn't happened for a long time: I almost forgot to write. I remember I was about to write in the morning, but then something interrupted me. Then I just forgot to get back to it. I even forgot that I didn't actually write despite having the intention to start. That intention was enough to leave a memory footprint in my mind regarding the activity of writing.

It's so easy to remember things happening in general. Remembering all the details is much harder. Especially if the even is something common, like writing daily. It was just one of those events. No point storing further details about it, it's generally the same after all. Except when it isn't, like today.

Good thing I know the general fallacy of human memory and my own in particular. Can't trust it alone for anything too important. Reminders are essential. As long as I remember to check them.
