Auto dictate

Even that I knew I wouldn't have time to write today after noon I didn't write in the morning. I had this long drive ahead and I thought it would be good time to write todays post as I was driving. Obviously I wasn't going to type it while driving. Instead, my intention was to use speech to text to dictate the post. After all our car has the Android auto system and nice integrated hands free with noise cancelling mics and all.

Keeping everything up to date

There is a lot of things we need to keep up to date. Almost every appliance today has some sort of software running it and more and more of them are also becoming connected.

It's not about getting the more up to date, more stable version of the firmware on those devices. It's not even getting some new features which almost justifies the ability to update versus being reliant on something like that.

Battery problems

My trusty first-generation Pixel phone is starting to show the signs of age. I can hardly get it through half of the day with light usage. Not to mention if I want to use it more. Then the battery is empty in mere hours.

I'd hate to replace it just yet. It still serves it's purpose just fine. I  don't have needs for latest and greatest features or the top-notch performance of latest phones.
