Even that I knew I wouldn't have time to write today after noon I didn't write in the morning. I had this long drive ahead and I thought it would be good time to write todays post as I was driving. Obviously I wasn't going to type it while driving. Instead, my intention was to use speech to text to dictate the post. After all our car has the Android auto system and nice integrated hands free with noise cancelling mics and all.
The problem is, while I might be rather good at writing English I'm terrible at speaking it. My strong Finnish accent might be somewhat understandable by other humans, but it doesn't seem to play along nicely with the machines. Despite, I decided to give it a try once again. Maybe the systems would have improved since I last tried.
After I had accidentally called a colleague, played couple of pop songs I wouldn't ever listen and probably a few confusing messages posted here and there I decided to give up. And that was only when I was just trying to open the notes app! I never got to the actual writing part.
