So far I have listed numerous reasons why it would be a good idea to write as early as possible. But sometimes things just happen, but the writing doesn't.
Leaving it all to the last moment has it's own risks. What if I'm not able to write? What if I'm stuck for those last few hours so that I can't possibly write? It has happened, and eventually, I'm sure, it will happen again.
Before the 200wad I was able to fix the issue. It was ok to write a bit over midnight, it still counted for the day and the streak went on. There were also occasions I was without an internet connection. Didn't stop me from writing. I just had to once again post it later and mark it for that day.
But now, if for any reason, I'm not able to write digitally, online, it's over. There goes the streak and I need to start over again. Brutal, but honest. Makes you plan your days a bit more carefully.
Except I don't want to be forever dependent on the internet connection. I want to be able to go offline for longer than two days (or the few minutes less, which it would take me to write a post for each of those days).
