Autocorrect woes

Spell checker wit autocorrect, or even spelling suggestions is great. Unfortunately I have had some trouble with them lately. At some point I had to give up using Grammarly. It's a great tool and goes way beyond being just a simple spell checker. But when it started to completely eat random words instead of correcting them it made using it quite a nuisance.

So I'm back using the stock android spell checker. While not quite as sophisticated as Grammarly it gets the job done most of the time. It just seems to not come along greatly with my blogs text editor. Maybe that was the culprit with the Grammarly as well.

Apart from those few technical issues there is also another issue that irks me with these tools. Maybe it's the difference not being a native speaker. But some of the natural mistakes I make seem like they would be easy to spot by 5he software. I guess they are so obvious to the native speakers that nobody thought of implementing those.

Perhaps there could be alternative checker. Just like there are for different languages, but instead having the one with correction for language x for native speakers of language y.
