Standing activity

Since I got my home office fully equipped and been working remote for there 100 percent of the time I have been standing a lot more than before. Now I don't spend 2 or 3 days sitting on a couch anymore.

The adjustable standing desk is great. I can stand, sit on a saddle chair or a regular one altering between different postures. I try to stand as much as possible, but it gets surprisingly heavy on the feet after a while. Especially when not having anything cushioning the soles. When I get tires I sit down for a while on the saddle. It's still better than outright sitting.

While working, even if it's just tapping the keyboard and moving the mouse around there is still some dynamic activity going on. It's easier to stay upright while doing that "activity". When having a remote meeting however, it starts to feel tedious both standing and sitting on the saddle. So I have started to sit down into a more comfortable chair while having any longer meetings. Unfortunately the chair available isn't that comfortable. At least not for that purpose. It seems my office isn't yet fully equipped after all.

Anyway, while all the standing might feel in my feets at the end of the day it unfortunately doesn't show up as activity on my activity tracker.
